IOS Webinar #8:Conservation Actions for Five Endemic Mexico Oak Species and the Oaks at Bokrijk Arboretum

Event Date:
Wednesday, 25 June 2025

The IOS is pleased to announce our next virtual event, again co-hosted with the Global Conservation Consortium for Oak (GCCO), which will take place over Zoom at 10 am US Central Time on June 25, 2025

In this webinar, we will first hear from Maribel Arenas Navarro, who will present a project focusing on conservation actions for five endemic Mexican oaks: Quercus centenaria, Q. cualensis, Q. tuitensis, Q. mexiae, and Q. nixoniana. The fieldwork for this project, carried out in 2023 and 2024, was funded by an IOS Oak Conservation and Research Grant.
