Plantsman Dan Hinkley at the AM of the Magnolia Society

The Magnolia society will hold its 2013 annual meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, next April 19th- 21st..  Dr. Peter Raven, President Emeritus of the Missouri Botanical Garden will be the keynote speaker on Saturday evening, 20th of April.  Dr. Raven is one of the world’s preeminent botanists and a leader in conservation and biodiversity.  He will be preceeded by  Renowned plantsman Dan Hinkley who will kick off the evening with a talk titled "The Accidental Magnoliaphile:  Stumbling Upon Magnolias in Asia and Learning to Love Them."  Dan is also a member of the Oak Society.  He is protrayed on the website of the Magnolia Society.
