IOS Webinar #4: Quercus marlipoensis Conservation Project and the Oaks of Chevithorne Barton

The IOS is pleased to announce our fourth virtual event, again co-hosted with the Global Conservation Consortium for Oak (GCCO), which will take place over Zoom at 9 am US Central Time on May 14, 2024. 

In this webinar, Dr. Min Deng and Luting Liu of Yunnan University's School of Ecology and Environmental Science (China) will present their project studying seed germination, pollen grain conservation, and phylogeny of Quercus marlipoensis.

During the second section of the webinar, James MacEwen, Curator, and Greg Watson, Head Gardener,will present an overview of the oak collection at Chevithorne Barton (Devon, UK). Following the presentations there will be Q&A.
